My hometown Gothenburg has one of the slowest public transport systems in the western world. The dinky tramway connects all suburbs with the center and adds considerably to what is known as the local Gothenburg charm vs the fast pace underground efficiently of capital Stockholm.

At this point in 1994, I had already been living in New York for five year on on my return back home, I conflated my childhood impressions of America; wild west movies, bandits and living life without safety nets with the cinematographic view of the tracks.

Obviously, there was no risk in taking this photo at all. The tram on this line arrived every 20 minutes. My dramatic action was also consciously ignored by every passerby, best audience I have ever had!
