How to Be a Joshua Tree is a fanzine that came out of the short Home Road Movie with the same name. Home Road Movies is simply
the accumulation of short videos I am shooting on my travels. They are brief studies of moving phenomena and also documentation of smaller impromptu performances.
The project started in January 2002, on my first visit ever to California, with a series of shorts (1-3 minutes) shot out in Joshua Tree. SEE the movie. READ an interview about it.
