When I moved to Palermo, Sicily in 2005 two local graffiti writers Pilla (Pussy) and Seno (Tits) came to work with me in my studio on my large scale b/w Sharpie drawings. It was not long before I also ventured out into their world, first to watch and eventually to create a series of b/w Rainbow paintings with their help. The b/w stood out in hard contrast against their colorful aesthetic, but was also quickly covered up with new anonymous creations. A couple of months later, the work was all gone.
