Reminiscent of Woodstock, the Roskilde Festival in Denmark has been running since 1970 without interruption. Today, surrounded by chicken wire fences and with impeccable security arrangements, 100,000 enthusiasts arrive from all over the world to consume enormous amounts of beer, drugs, sex—and bands.
