Skyscraper, 1997 (unrealized proposal)

This project is a public sculpture for Manhattan made out of filing cabinets. A meditation on architecture and labor in the city (an exorcism on all the administrative day jobs I’ve held here for over a decade) was proposed to the Public Art Fund in 1997 and intended to be unveiled in a traditional public art ceremony on Secretary’s Day.
