The Great Ears

SAN FRANSISCO—The USA is like a big brain. All the smarts in the world and all the powers to run it are gathered here. The only thing missing is a pair of big ears. I am thinking in the tradition of other national monuments, such as the presidential portraits on Mount Rushmore, but that can encompass the intellistyle of celebrating the perfect human form. One will be set on the East Coast, listening out to the Atlantic Ocean, the other on the West Coast, turned towards the Pacific. They will make us aware of what goes on in the world and protect us from evil threat, like ears do.
